A lot of us virtual drinkers found a great place here to gather for chats. Hey, let's face it, before the modern day concept of psychologists and therapists, that role was filled in society almost solely by priests and bartenders...
Here's hoping the moderators look kindly upon us here. We used to write some rather quirky and weird things on the odd occasion - nothing nasty - just letting off steam...
After all, this is a virtual beer garden, and anything is possible without waking the next morning all devastated by guilt and hangovers... hahaha...
I would like to take a moment to still the jukebox and general happy chatter, and raise a toast to all of us peeps.
We may be on the edge of the human experience, struggling with anxiety, PTSD, OCD, schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, eating disorders, BPD and a hundred other labels that describe our individual efforts to survive...
But we're still here. Props to all of us. I love the strength we all have, hiding behind the supposed weakness. What we go through every day... yeah... well, you all know it. But you don't all realise how strong and wonderful you all are for living it every day...
Together, we are strong... thank you all for being you.
